Medical FacilitiesThe Institute has a full-time Medical Officer and Pharmacist to look after the health and well being of the participants. On their arrival, the trainees are to undergo a medical check-up conducted by the medical Officer. If any trainee falls sick during his/her stay at the Institute measures are taken for his/her preliminary treatment.
EnvironmentThe Institute's building is maintained as a smoking-free area, which helps the management of the Institute to keep it healthy and clean. The trainees are therefore expected to abstain from smoking in the building complex, keeping the environment clean in the campus is considered to be the collective responsibility of the trainees and the members of the Faculty.
Telephone FacilityTo meet the needs of the trainees, a card phone counter has been installed on the first floor of the other sessions of the institute. Keeping the phone engaged in long conversations is not desirable. Telephones are available at the reception and two other floors of the hostel for receiving calls for the trainees on request.
